What is the General Return Policy?
|
|
Most unopened products may be returned for a refund. The manufacturer's seal must not be broken. If you find that an item is defective or "dead on arrival" (DOA) after opening the item, we will exchange that item according to the manufacture's warranty. We must receive all parts of the defective item in order to offer a replacement. BregTech is not responsible for compatibility issues. Please contact the manufacturer in order to make sure that you are ordering the correct parts. Once an item is opened it cannot be returned unless it tests defective. |

Am I required to have an RMA number in order to return a product to BregTech?
|
|
Yes. You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number within our Return or Warranty policy period. BregTech.com will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 20 days within which BregTech.com must receive return products. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customers should prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product. |

How do I acquire a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#)?

We ask that all RMA's be requested online through the My Account page for your convenience.

Approximately how long does it take for BregTech.com to process an RMA?
|

It can take up to 2-5 business days to process and re-ship or issue a refund once the product is received at our facility. It may take an additional 3-5 days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement. |

Does BregTech pay for the return shipping on DOA/Defective Material?
|
|
No, BregTech does not pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. However, we will ship the replacement back to you at no charge. |

Does BregTech cross-ship replacement merchandise?
|
|
We do not offer cross shipping, if an item is within thirty days of invoice and has meet all RMA requirements, we will charge for a new item being sent out and credit your account once we receive the RMA item. |

May I exchange my RMA'd item for a different product?
|
|
No. We do not exchange RMA items for different items. We will only replace an RMA'd item with a different unit of the same item. If the warranty period for a refund has not yet expired, you can request an RMA Refund (subject to 15% restocking fee, order a new item, and we'll refund your original purchase after we receive your returned product. |
|
When are restocking fees applied?
|
|
There is a minimum 15% restocking fee for all returns for refund (RMA Refund). We offer RMA Replacement without any restocking fee to support customers who have received a DOA/defective product. |

Should I provide all items when I make a return (cables, software, manuals, etc...?)
|
|
Yes. If all items are not present at the time of the return, BregTech reserves the right to refuse the RMA and product will be returned to you at your cost. |

When will I receive my tracking number?
|
|
The tracking numbers for each days shipped orders are automatically emailed after 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time. |

My tracking number is not working. What should I do?
|
|
Please email our customer service department - customerservice@BregTech.com and provide us with your account number, order# and the tracking number in question. We will then start to investigate the situation and reply back to you within a 1-2 day window. Be aware that some times tracking numbers can take up to 48 hours before activating at the UPS tracking website. Please allow at least 24 hours after you received your tracking number before questioning the your tracking number. |

UPS has my package but they have not delivered it yet. Why?
|

to obtain further status on your packages. The priority of delivery within the method of shipment chosen is determined by your local UPS hub. If UPS is holding them, please contact UPS. |

What should I do if an item is delivered damaged?
|
|
If the item appears to have obvious damage by UPS, immediately tell the UPS driver you do not want to receive this package or call 1-800-PICK-UPS (742-5877) to submit a damaged shipment claim. If the damaged package was left or someone else signed for it, there is a grace period of around 3 days to file the damage claim. If a package looks suspiciously damaged, you can tell the driver to wait and open it to make sure the contents are not damaged and then if they are damaged you can refuse the package. Obtain a control number from UPS and call BregTech customer service at 937-565-4511. If the item appears to be damaged straight from the manufacturer, immediately call BregTech customer service at 937-565-4511. |

What should I do if an item is missing or is the incorrect item on my order?
|
Short Ship
Check the UPS label on the box, in the upper right hand corner there is a box number out of total boxes, if you have all the boxes associated with that specific order check the packing material and recount your items. If you still have not received all of your items call our customer service at 937-565-4511 and let us know of the short ship and we will send out your missing items ASAP UPS ground free of charge.
Mis-Ship
If you receive any item(s) that's incorrect on your order, contact customer service at 937-565-4511 the day you receive your order and they will have the correct items sent out immediately, UPS ground, free of charge. Please have your order number available when you call. You will be responsible for sending the incorrect item back to BregTech within one week from the day you speak with customer service or you will be charged for that item. The item that needs to be shipped back to BregTech, can be shipped USPS from your local post office. You will be credited back any cost you endure for the shipping as soon as BregTech receives it. |

I bought items that said there was free shipping on select items but when I go to checkout its charging me for shipping?
|

You need to purchase at least $60 worth of the selected free shipping items to get free shipping. If you have any items in your cart that are not selected for free shipping then you will pay freight to ship the weight of those items only. |

I did not receive an order confirmation. Was my order submitted successfully?
|
|
If you did not receive a confirmation on the order however successfully clicked the last submit button, most likely our server received your order but communication back to your PC was interrupted. Please do NOT replace the order on-line. If you do, you may end up with duplicate orders and both being charged since we use an automatic computer system. Call our customer service at 937-565-4511 to make sure your order was received to be safe. |

After I submit an order with BregTech.com, how will I be advised of the order's progress?

BregTech will do our best to keep you informed of your order status. You will receive your invoice and tracking number as soon as your order ships. You can also log into your account to review the status of your most recent orders. |

Can I add, change or remove items from my order after it has been submitted?

No. Once an order is submitted it can only be amended or edited by calling BregTech.com customer service at 937-565-4511. Once our warehouses have processed an order, items cannot be added or deleted. Once any box from an order is shipped, the order cannot be voided. |

Is the BregTech.com website secure? What type of security features are utilized to safeguard my information?

When you are placing an order on the Internet, security is a number one priority. All on-line transactions are sent through our secure server, and encrypted with 256-bit technology. |

What happens if/when an item is backordered?
|
If an item in your order is not in stock, we will not hold the rest of your order until the item is available. We will ship the available items and backorder the item that is not in stock, provided that the available item on your order is not an accessory to the backordered item.
In most circumstances, we will ship the backorder shortly after it was ordered, unless you are notified otherwise. You may always cancel a backorder for a full credit by contacting our Customer Service department.
BREGTech.com will not bill your credit card for an item that is not in stock. Occasionally, an item is found to be out of stock after the order has been processed due to an inventory discrepancy. We will credit your account for the value of that item if it is not expected shortly. If the backordered item becomes unavailable to us we will notify you via email and issue a full credit if your card has already been charged. |

The price of an item I purchased has dropped prior to shipment. Is it possible to get a refund of the difference?
|
|
BregTech does not offer any price guarantee, because industry prices change too often and too fast. Prices posted on BregTech are final at the time of purchase. |

What is the differences between the OEM and retail versions of a product?
|
|
Retail versions may come with additional accessories, retail packaging, bundled software and warranty coverage. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), White Box and Brown Box versions include the product and sometimes the drivers, but not much else. They are packaged generically and do not include software. OEM products are best-suited for system builders who don't require documentation or bundled accessories. |

Does BregTech offer a money-back guarantee?
|
|
BregTech allows most factory sealed products to be returned for a refund within 30 days of the invoice date. CPUs can only be refunded if an RMA number is obtained within 7 days of the invoice date and are unopened. Other exceptions may be noted on our website. A 15% restocking fee will apply for all refunds of non-defective products. Additional deductions will be made for all products, depending on current market value. |
